In for life, hard time, no chance for parole. That is the sentence this magnificent black bear has for basically being a bear. His "offenses" occurred in the mountains of northern Georgia. Damage to property, vandalism and breaking and entering are the reasons for his situation. Brilliant reds and oranges depict the intensity of his exploits and capture. This bear's fate may seem a bit tragic, (he now lives in a zoo) but I have to say he seemed quite content on the day I met him. As people observing him oohed and awed he appeared to have genuinely enjoyed himself. Plus he had just sired two cubs, and had a pretty decent habitat with it's own waterfall no less. Not too bad for a bear that's considered...."The Convict"!
